WHO DO WE SUPPORT?

Dazu supports children and young people who are under 18 years of age and who have caring responsibilities within their families.

The child / young person may care for a relative who has a physical illness, is disabled or has a mental health problem.

 

WHO CAN MAKE REFERRALS?

Referrals can be made by phone, e-mail or past. These can be self referrals or referrals from other voluntary agencies, statutory bodies or schools.

 

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

The support offered by the Dazu Young Carers Project includes access to activities, advocacy and invitations on trips.

Dazu also publishes a regular Young Carers Newsletter, written by two of our members, and provides leisure vouchers so that young carers can access activities in their own time.
